The JNP Red Tag
That Red Tag. Another important and unique safety feature from JN Phillips Auto Glass.
We wanted to find a way to let our customers know precisely when their vehicles are safe to drive while reminding them how important it is to let the adhesive cure and set. So we created the Red Tag Guarantee that guarantees the Safe Drive Away Time for every individual replacement we provide. Each time JN Phillips Auto Glass technicians finish an installation, they hang a Safe Drive Away Time Red Tag on the rearview mirror detailing the temperature and humidity readings at the time of the service. (Temperature and humidity conditions determine how long it will take for the special Sika adhesive to set.) The technician then writes the exact time when the vehicle will be ready to drive on the Red Tag. Customers can't miss it. Even when we're not there to advise them personally, (as is sometimes the case with a driveway replacement), we make sure they know exactly how long they need to wait until the adhesive is fully set and it's safe to get back on the road.
Temperature and humidity play an important role in safe windshield replacement. Every one of our technicians is trained to know how these climatic factors jointly effect the cure time of the adhesive and how to calculate Safe Drive Away Time accordingly.
