The B-Pillar is a term used to describe the roof support member immediately behind the drivers door glass.
It is not uncommon for this naming scheme to be used against a reference model with the A-pillar taken from the windshield
and the C-pillar to be taken as the last pillar regardless of the presence or absence of a B-pillar. This naming scheme allows
auto glass repair technicians to have points of reference when discussing the area on the vehicle where the glass has become
damaged or broken and in need of repair or replacement.
