Windshield Options your vehicle may have:

Shadeband & Tinting

To check to see if you have a shadeband: a 5" or 6" deep colored band across the top of your windshield.

Did you know that most windshields are actually tinted different colors? When selecting the damaged piece of glass, we may also need to know the color of your windshield to ensure that the technician brings the right part.

To see if your windshield is tinted, hold a piece of white paper up to it and notice if there's a color difference.

Rain Sensor or rain sensor with condensation

If you're not sure you have a rain sensor, set your windshield wipers on 'intermittent' and then spray your windshield with water. If the wipers start up, you have a rain sensor.

Electrochromic Mirror

An electrochromic mirror automatically dims when it senses bright headlights. The easiest way to tell if you don't have one is to look for a manual lever underneath the mirror.
